Of all things...we are here in sunny Arizona and I wake up this morning to pictures of my home that Nick emailed to me. It's snowing in Baton Rouge! I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see the pictures. I have to admit it's a little sad to miss the kids playing in the snow...I can remember as a kid when it snowed how exciting it was. Here are some pictures that Nick took:

I hope everyone in BR is enjoying the snow! We miss you all!
On a side note, I started the home contraction monitoring this week. I put on a belt with a sensor for an hour twice a day. After each session, the results are sent to a nurse through a wireless modem who calls me back within 30 minutes to let me know the results. Dr. Elliott likes to see no more than 3.5/hour on average (for a week.) So far, most of mine have been zero, but I have had a couple of sessions with one or two contractions...nothing to be too concerned with. My next appointment with Dr. E is next Wednesday...I can't wait to see how much the babies have grown! Mom is doing a good job of keeping me growing! :)

It's so pretty! Wyatt is having a blast and loving being out of school today! I am so sorry you missed it. I actually thought about you a little while ago and thought about you being in sunny Phoenix. The snow is a Christmas miracle just like our babies:) Have a great day! We miss you here!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry you missed the snowfall! But trust a Kansan....it's nicer to look at (photos are fine) than to be in.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your mama is keeping you fed. I'm sure your little lambs are even more appreciative! Keep truckin', girl!
Love,
Moni
Thanks for the email and great blog update. Love the snow pics.....My kids would love it. Your blog update sounds so familiar. We just had to change my settings today on my pump from the bolice being every 4 hours to every 3 because I was starting to have 4-6 contractions....too much for Dr Elliott. I will pray all goes well for you with it. I did not (still don't) like it, but learned to appreciate it....especially over being in the hospital.
ReplyDeletewow! snow in BR! awesome! yeah, you won't be seeing any snow here, unless it's static snow from the TV ;)
ReplyDeleteyay on the contraction monitoring! zero is awesome. keep up the good work!
