And what do we dress as...I have to admit that it's not very original, but we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to dress our precious little Lambes as 4 precious little lambs! We had a great first Halloween as a family. I am looking forward to many more to come and reliving the excitement of trick-or-treating through their eyes! You know, when they are old enough to pick their own costumes and when the site of a bite-sized butterfinger brings sheer joy...good times ahead! Hope you enjoy these...

Happy Fall Y'all!
Last week, we took the babies to a Pumpkin Patch near our house. It was a beautiful day and the babies were very cooperative! So much so, that I took 95 pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.

New Memories, New Developments and New Friends!
Hi! I have a lot to catch up on...so here goes.
Last month, we had a great visit with Aunt Pat and Uncle Bill from Tennessee. This was their first time to meet the babies. They are grandparents of twins so they understand first hand life with multiples!

I think Madden might have been a little tired of taking pics ;)
Aunt Pat made these beautiful personalized quilts for each of the babies
Sloan loved hers!
Uncle Bill keeping Jagger and Madden in line
"Thanks Aunt Pat...we LOVE the LSU blankets you made for us...our daddy does too!"
(Clockwise: Sloan, Madden, Jagger, Rocco)
Oh yeah, we started eating meat this month! GG and I are still making all their baby food and they usually like just about everything we have made, but meat...not so much! We started with chicken first. They have definitely gotten better with it, but this video of Jagger will show you just how much they don't love it!

Also last month, we went to a couple of parties. Sloan was invited to a Fancy Nancy birthday party by her friend Mikalyn. It was such a cute party. The girls dressed up, made purses, picked out accessories, had a fashion show and decorated their own cupcakes! Sloan couldn't participate in everything but of course, she had to dress the part...

It was a such a nice few hours spent with my baby girl! I look forward to many more momma/daughter days!
I didn't get many pictures from our LSU party, but here is another of Sloan dressing the part...

Happy Rocco...notice the drool!
Madden and Jagger fighting over a toy...yes, it's a pink Monkey...don't tell daddy!

I think she was the only one that thought it was fun!
Madden crowd-surfing!
Aww...precious little girl! She couldn't wait to get home for her nap.

Now, you might think that she wouldn't like wearing those tutus...being itchy and all....that was Nick's concern anyway. I kid you not, when I put the tutu on her and the tulle touched her skin, she let out a giddy little sigh. She is such the princess already!
The babies turned 8 months old this month! They are getting so big. Crazy how time flies. I thought you might be interested in their most current weights and recent developments.
Rocco - 19lbs 2ozs
Sloan - 19lbs 2ozs - she caught up to Rocco! She is quite the eater.
Jagger - 17lbs 2ozs
Madden - 16lbs 8ozs
Just as of last week, we have two babies with two teeth each....Rocco and Jagger. Sloan and Madden can't be far behind judging by the pool of drool left behind wherever they have been! Sloan is rolling all over the place, but the boys are only rolling from belly to back. They are all sitting pretty good. I still sit right by them or put pillows around them in case they take a dive...which they still do pretty often. So is that considered sitting? If not, they are very very close! Here are some pics from our days together...

Okay....so this is another one of those mom is bored and alone with the kids pics. Before you judge me for subjecting my children to this, I will tell you that they were all laughing until I got the camera out and ready. They were having fun....REALLY!
This is a video of Jagger and Madden loving each other. So fun!

Finally, we had the pleasure of spending the day with some new friends. For the LSU/Florida game, we tailgated with fellow quadparents Torey and Jac Tubre, along with Matt and Sandra Cochran and Billy and Moni Graf. The game turned out to be a let down, but we did have a great time with them and look forward to seeing them again. Special thanks to grandmama and grandaddy for keeping the kiddos while we could go play!

Cardboard Testimonies
Some of you may be familiar with this, but this was done at our church this past Sunday. There were so many great testimonies of how God works in people's lives especially when we do not even deserve it! Thanks to everyone who shared their story on Sunday. Nick and I were so glad to be a part of it.

Fly On Our Wall
So I have been in a bit of a blogging funk lately. I won't make excuses but will try to do better. As you can imagine, we get lots of comments/questions when people learn that we have four 7 month olds...yes they are already 7 months....almost 8! A popular one is "how do you do it?" or "I can't even imagine!" So I thought it would be fun to give you a little insight on just how it is that we do it. Before we get to that, I would like to thank all of our volunteers that have come in the past and are still coming to help us. Y'all are the best! It is such a blessing to have family and friends that are so eager and willing to help out. By far, the busiest time for us is the evenings. Our nightly routine begins around 5:45 or 6 with supper...spoon feed each baby, then we bathe each baby, then we give a bottle to each baby and then its down for the night...usually around 7 to 7:30. The babies are sleeping 11-12 hours every night...boy, are we counting our blessings! Three nights a week we have regular help from volunteers, Alicia, Cindy, Ms. Becky & Mr. Rusty. They really are troopers hanging in with us during the busy times! The other four nights are usually just the two of us, but occasionally we have the grandparents or other family stop in to help out. On real crazy nights, we might have to call in for reinforcement :) On the night of this video it was just me and Nick. Initially we did this so we could look back on it years from now, but then we thought we would share our nights with you...in a nutshell of course. The whole process took about an hour and 40 minutes. Don't worry, the video is only 3 minutes long and put to a little Kenny Loggins for your viewing pleasure! Enjoy!
Oh by the way, the babies aren't quite ready to feed at their quad table. They are still a little wobbly at sitting so we make a bigger mess than necessary. It won't be long though. Also, I don't usually dress the babies on the sofa, but did it this night just for the video.
This is our normal now. We don't even think twice about it. We love it!

It's Gameday!
It's finally here. The first LSU game of the season! We taught our kids to be Tiger fans before birth - if you remember, I had a LSU flag hanging in my hospital room in Phoenix. Sloan, Rocco, Madden and Jagger have all predicted victory for the Tigers against Washington tonight.
So in honor of the big day, we sported our LSU attire and there also was a special dish on the menu (besides the Huskies, of course!) The babiesbleed eat purple and gold!
